Who do you know would love to see their name in lights?

The bright lights of The Franklin Theatre marquee first illuminated Main Street over 80 years ago inviting visitors inside to laugh, cry and dream. Box office hits, classic movie titles and the names of world-renowned music performers have all shone bright on the marquee. Hundreds of events turned into holiday traditions, date nights and first kisses, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. We want to see many more years of making lifetime memories at this historic landmark in downtown Franklin. Help us reopen the doors by making the marquee YOURS.

For a $100 donation, you can display a personal message for the day. Know someone with a birthday coming up? Anniversary? Tell that special someone “Congratulations!”

Please use the form below to submit your payment and message, and the message must follow the requirements.

Personal messages should fall into one of these categories:

  • Birthday
  • Anniversary

Messages are limited to personal use only. Please, no political or religious messages or business advertising. The Franklin Theatre reserves the right to deny any messages deemed inappropriate or that do not meet requirements.

Messages should not exceed 60 characters / 10 words.

Marquee will be limited to 4 public messages a day. A $100 donation gives a person one message on the marquee for 24 hours. Messages will be included in a group of up to six messages that rotate every 8 seconds during that 24-hour period.

Please fill out the Marquee Donation Form with all required information. A minimum $100 donation is required, however, you may enter more in the box provided. In the space provided, include the MESSAGE and DATE to be displayed. Once submitted, your message will be sent to us for review. All requests should have at least 5 business days advance notice, and we ask to allow 24 hours to review and respond to the request. Approved messages will be created and scheduled in advance, and a confirmation will be sent to the requester.

DONOR PRIVACY POLICY

Heritage Foundation of Williamson County is committed to respecting the privacy of donors. The types of donor information that it collects and maintains are as follows:
 

  • Contact information: name, address, telephone number and email address
  • Giving information
  • Information on events attended, publications received and special requests for program information
  • Information provided by the donor in the form of comments and suggestions
     

Heritage Foundation uses donors’ information to understand their interests in its mission and to update them on the organization’s plans and activities. It is shared with staff, board members, volunteers and consultants only on a “need-to-know” basis. Heritage Foundation also assures donors that their names and addresses will not be shared with any third party unless permission has been granted.
